About Me

I’m a Polish and French writer of YA and MG, born and raised in Poland on pierogis and Slavic poetry. Currently living in the USA, married into Latin American culture, and working for Africa’s economic development, I am passionate about sharing diverse perspectives through my writing.

Fun facts about me: I speak four languages fluently, with English being my third. I grew up immersed in geek culture—reading manga in all languages I could get my hands on (including original with a translation page slipped inside—I was devoted), watching ridiculous amounts of anime, and dressing up for conventions (I once won a contest dressed as Pikachu!). I spent my days on moderated chatrooms and sleepless nights on closed members forums. Some of my friends still call me by my username (which will remain a secret!). Yes, I love exclamation points and em dashes but I never use paranthesis in my fiction writing. These days, I bury myself in Chinese historical dramas and fantasy Korean series.
